While working at a local pawn shop during high school, he gained valuable experience, which later led him to open his own pawn shop at the age of 20. Maintaining a laid-back atmosphere, George adopted Hawaiian shirts as his signature look—an affordable choice that soon became a recognizable fashion trend among locals.

Over time, George developed a keen interest in jewelry and envisioned ways to redesign pieces to enhance their appeal. This passion prompted him to sell his pawn shop and establish his first jewelry store.

In 2005, George relocated to Cedar Park to be closer to his family. By 2021, he fulfilled his dream by launching Ranch Road Jewelry at 1400 E. Whitestone Blvd. The store offers full-service jewelry expertise, backed by a team with over 80 years of combined experience. George is widely recognized for his contributions to the community, often donating items to support local events.
